A woman was killed when she jumped in front of a speeding train in an apparent suicide in Attleboro this afternoon.
The woman, whose name was not released, leapt onto the track as an Amtrak regional train passed through the South Attleboro commuter station.
Vernae Graham, a railroad spokeswoman, said the train was traveling about 125 miles an hour when it struck the woman shortly after 3:30 p.m.
