Let's get serious here. All this event was, it was a PARENTAL "kidnapping".
This man is, in fact, that child's father. He violated a custody agreement, and police had to sort it out. END OF STORY. The only reason this is national news, or ever was, is because this guy is such a compelling, bizzare character. Custodial kidnappings happen almost every day. I would be very surprised if he even serves 2 years in jail. As for all the other stuff that has been speculated about that he MAY HAVE done? Well, they have nothing they can convict him on. Yes, he is a nut. Yes, he is a scum, but he did not kill or even physically harm anyone, (that can be proven) and the child was his own daughter.

He violated the law Howie -- an agreement he had with a court and his ex-spouse. He should be held accountable. Otherwise, why have laws at all?

Parental kidnapping, OK. Lying to the authorities and claiming he does not remember staying at a house whose owners were murdered, suspicious to say the least. If it is as Howie Felch says, a "parental kidnapping", let the law play out. Proper charges, if they exist, will show up in due time.

No, not OK. The court decided what was in the best interest of the child, it Rockewhoever violated it. His past is not in question here: it was his complete disregard of the law that is, and that's what the hearing is for. People who claim the parental kidnapping isn't a real crime are quite ignorant of the reprecussions it can have on a child.

He should be punished if he did kill the two person that they accused him of

This guy is an absolute "nut job" pathological liar. Think about it, where did this "imposter" acquire the grand sums of money to carry out the charade and lifestyle that he had for years !! From what has been reported in the media, he has already done a lot of psychological damage to his young daugher who is the real victim in all of this. There is no doubt in my mind that the law will play out and in due time he will be found out for the criminal he is and be prosecuted.....

No one is dismissing the fact that parental kidnapping is serious. "Clark" is a nutter. There are rapists get less time than 7 years. "Clark" hasn't done any serious harm to anyone. He's just a weirdo...
