Levin was hit by an errant bullet outside a party on Geneva Avenue in Dorchester in March 2007.
Prosecutors allege that Barros, 20, of Roxbury got into a fight at the party with Manuel Andrade, 33. The two allegedly began shooting at each other outside the party. Levin was struck in the head by one of the bullets as she sat in Andrade's car.
Andrade, of Dorchester, will be tried separately .
