One dead in Norton house fire

One person died in a fire this afternoon at a Norton home, a state fire official said.
The fire on Reservoir Avenue was called in at about 1:30 p.m., said State Fire Marshal Stephen Coan.
Coan said the blaze also caused extensive damage to the structure.
Investigators from Coan's office and the Bristol County district attorney's office are probing the case. No further details were immediately available.
