Shoughan Morgan, 32, was found dead shortly after 2 a.m. on the third floor of a building at 43 Mozart St. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.

Someone called police stating that two men were seen arguing before shots were fired, police said.

Morgan was pronounced dead at the scene. An arrest warrant has been issued for 19-year-old Gorio "Mikey" Lopez. Police say he is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Homicide detectives are urging anyone with information on Lopez's whereabouts to contact their office by calling (617) 343-4470.

  1. Oops! It happened again. When I lived there in the 80's the biggest fear was getting mugged at knife point. What happened to Jamaica Spain?
