Five people stabbed in three Boston incidents
By Emma Rose Johnson, Globe Correspondent
Five people were stabbed at three different locations in Boston early this morning, police said.
Police believe the three incidents were unrelated, according to Officer Joe Zanoli, a police spokesman, though all occurred in the space of just a few hours. None of the injuries were life-threatening.
The most serious case occurred at the corner of Essex and Chauncy Streets in the downtown area at approximately 3:22 a.m. Three men, ages 25, 24 and 38, were found stabbed after a police officer on duty observed a large group of people engaged in a confrontation, Zanoli said. One man was arrested for causing a fray, but was not charged in the stabbings.
At around 2:52 a.m., police responded to Boston Medical Center, where a 29-year-old man was being treated for a stab wound. The victim told police that he had been attacked earlier at a Mobil Gas Station at Mamelon Circle in Mattapan.
In the third incident, a man who was about 40 years old was found with multiple cuts on his body outside of 534 Dorchester St. in South Boston at 3:40 a.m. He refused to give a description of his attackers, and no arrests were made.

Wow ask me if I feel bad. What were they fighting over this time, a cigarette, maybe someone stepped on his toes. Give me a break and then he didn't want to identify his attacker, my heart really breaks.
Wow, we sure spend a lot of money dealing with violent crimes committed by MEN. Whether it's these stabbings or the usual shootings that will be committed by MEN this summer, or the ongoing assaults on women by a MAN or MEN in the North End, etc., etc., etc.
Just pointing it out.
