Car crashes into Orleans hair salon
By John M. Guilfoil, Globe Correspondent
A customer at a hair salon in Orleans apparently accidentally drove through the Cape Cod storefront yesterday morning, injuring several people inside.
The crash occurred around 10 a.m. Thursday on Route 6 at the Pro Cuts salon, police said.
The 26-year-old woman driving a late model Buick sedan and several people inside the Pro Cuts Hair Styling salon were injured and taken to area hospitals. One customer in the salon was seriously injured in the crash and had to be flown by Life Flight to a Boston hospital.
The victims' names have not been released.
The crash appears to have been an accident. No charges have been filed against the driver, and police are investigating to try to determine a cause.
