Twelve people were hurt this morning when an MBTA bus was involved in a crash with two other vehicles on Blue Hill Avenue in Dorchester, according to a transit spokeswoman.
Several people were taken to area hospitals, but all the injuries were non-life threatening, according to MBTA spokeswoman Lydia Rivera.
A sport utility vehicle crossed the middle lane on Blue Hill Avenue at 10:11 a.m. and hit another vehicle near Talbot Avenue, Rivera said. The two vehicles then hit the side of a Route 28 bus, which was traveling outbound from Ruggles station.
The crash hurt 10 people on the bus, including the driver, Rivera said. One person in SUV and one person from the other vehicle were also injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
