A 20-year-old Roxbury man died early this morning in a single-vehicle crash in Boston's Jamaica Plain section.

Nicholas Adegboyega was operating a 1990 Nissan 330ZX southbound on Morton Street at about 2:37 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle, exited to the right, and collided with the American Legion Highway bridge abutment, State Police said.

The victim was not wearing a safety belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was declared deceased at the scene.

Morton Street southbound was closed at the American Legion Highway for approximately three hours due to the crash investigation and vehicle removal. The crash remains under investigation, police said.
