Renovated section of Tobin Bridge reopens Friday

The southbound upper level of the Tobin Bridge will officially re-open to all lanes Friday as the $22 million renovation of the 60-year-old bridge wraps up.
Temporary “off peak” lane closures will still continue through the end of the year while crews finish the project and install lighting, Massport said.
The redecking project is expected to wrap up on the northbound lower level of the Tobin by the end of the year.
Massport also works in conjunction with the 511 Information Service and smartraveler.com to allow motorists to get real-time traffic conditions or information.
