Police investigate fatal stabbing in Roxbury
A 19-year-old Hispanic male was found fatally stabbed just after midnight this morning in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood, police said.
Officers found the man on the sidewalk at 16 Horadan Way at about 12:11 a.m.
He was taken to Brigham and Womens Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Police are investigating the incident, said Officer Joe Zanoli, a Boston Police spokesman.
The slaying was the 34th homicide of the year. At this time last year, 39 homicides had been recorded.
