Two Boston police officers received non-life-threatening injuries in a car accident in the city's Mattapan neighborhood early this morning.
The accident happened at 2:43 a.m. at the intersection of River Street and Cummins Highway, said Officer James Kenneally, a spokesman for the Boston Police Department.
Both officers were sent to Bringham and Women's Hospital, he said.
