Swimming remains banned today on all east-side facing beaches in Chattham, after several great white sharks were spotted near the town over the past several days, and it remains unclear when people will be allowed back in the water.

Yesterday, state marine biologists attached electronic-tracking tags on two of three great white sharks that have been spotted in the area.
