Man shot outside Lynn nightclub

A man was shot in the head outside a Lynn nightclub early this morning, police said.
The victim is a man in his mid-20s, said Lynn Police Lieutenant Peter Holey. He was flown to Boston Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
Firefighters and police responded to Soriano's Nightclub on Market Street at about 1:18. The first arriving firefighters said the victim had a single gunshot wound and was unresponsive to medical treatment.
Holey said no arrests were made as of early this morning.
