Reading man killed in Route 128 ramp crash

November 14, 2009 02:46 PM

A Reading man died early today after his 2002 Ford Explorer crashed on the exit ramp from Route 128 southbound to Route 28 northbound.

The Explorer driven by Ryan Golden, 35, rolled over onto the adjacent Route 28 ramp. Golden was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, state police said.

Police arrived at the scene at about 12:44 a.m. Golden was taken to Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, where he was pronounced dead.

"Speed could be a probable factor, but it is under investigation," said Sergeant David Mahan, a state police spokesman. He said the accident happened before it started raining today.
