Funeral for Nancy Kerrigan's father set for Thursday

A funeral Mass will be said for Daniel Kerrigan, father of famed figure skater Nancy Kerrigan, on Thursday.
The service, for family and friends of Daniel Kerrigan, 70, will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Stoneham, according to a death announcement published in today's Globe. Kerrigan died early Sunday. The cause of death has not been determined, but authorities today charged Daniel Kerrigan's son Mark with assaulting his father in the hours before he died.
In addition to his daughter and son, Daniel Kerrigan leaves his wife, Brenda, and another son, Michael, and seven grandchildren.
