Man sought in Lynn shooting arrested after standoff in Boston

A 23-year-old man allegedly involved in a shooting last night in Lynn barricaded himself in a Humboldt Avenue residence this morning, according to police. The man was apprehended by Boston police after a standoff of several hours.
Lynn police said the reasons behind the Lynn shooting are still unclear. No one was injured.
According to Boston police spokesman Officer Joe Zanoli, Boston and Lynn police worked together. The suspect’s license plate was tracked from Lynn to 235 Humboldt Ave. The suspect, whose name was not immediately available, is originally from Lynn but currently lives in Boston.
