![]()
Waiting and wondering at the bus stop on five of the MBTA's busiest routes could soon be less aggravating.
The MBTA announced today that it was making real-time bus arrival information available on the public transit agency's website, mbta.com, and by telephone.
The new service, dubbed "T-Tracker," will show the information for Route 39, which serves Jamaica Plain, the Longwood Medical area, and Back Bay; and Routes 111, 114, 116, and 117, which serve Haymarket, East Boston, Chelsea, and Revere.
The information is available when you click on a link at the bottom left of the mbta.com Web page. The website will also allow you to determine your stop number. Once you know your stop number, you can call 617-517-3917 to find out when your bus arrives.
