Stabbing suspect arrested after Revere manhunt
A 16-year-old Dorchester boy who is a suspect in four stabbings has been captured this afternoon after an approximately hour-long manhunt in the neighborhoods of Revere, State Police said.
The search for the suspect began after a brief foot pursuit early this afternoon. He was captured on Ridge Road at the Tudor Street intersection.
The youth was being sought in connection with the stabbings on Wednesday of three women in South Boston and the stabbing of a fourth woman on Sunday in Revere. None of the stabbings were fatal, State Police said in a statement.
The boy faces charges of armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Numerous other warrants were also pending against him, State Police said.
