Abington Police have released surveillance camera photos of the woman who allegedly shoplifted video games at the Hanover Mall Tuesday night and then fled in a car that dragged and injured a local police officer.
The woman entered Sears, stole about $2,000 worth of games, then went to a silver Pontiac four-door sedan with a male driver, police said.
Approached by a store security guard and an Abington officer, a "violent struggle" ensued, Abington Police said in a statement. Officer Deborah Burns ended up being dragged by the car about 300 yards.
Police asked anyone with information to contact Hanover Detective John Abben or Sergeant Metievier at 781-826-2335 Extension 114.
