UMass names presidential search committee

The University of Massachusetts today announced the members of the seach committee to pick a successor to UMass President Jack M. Wilson, who said earlier this month that he will step down in June 2011.

The committee will be headed by James J. Karam, vice chairman of the UMass Board of Trustees. Trustee Henry M. Thomas III will be vice chairman of the search committee.
