Firefighters responded to a smell of smoke at the Green Street Station on the Orange Line in Boston this evening.
Arriving at the scene, firefighters found an electrical panel producing the smoke, said Steve MacDonald, a Boston Fire Department spokesman.
The MBTA summoned an electrician and firefighters left the station after the electrician assessed the problem, MacDonald said.
One train was delayed, MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo said.
