There's good news for Cape-bound drivers.
The Army Corps of Engineers says that work has been completed on the Sagamore Bridge, one of the gateways to Cape Cod, with two weeks to go to Memorial Day.
The Corps says all four lanes are now open on the bridge for traffic entering and leaving the Cape.
The Corps says work was completed Thursday. The repairs were necessary to protect the bridge's steel/concrete grid deck and maintain the structural integrity and safety of the bridge, officials said in a statement.
