Man severely injured in motorcycle crash in Marshfield

A 44-year-old man was severely injured in a motorcycle accident tonight in in Marshfield, the town's Fire Department said.
Rescuers responded at about 6:50 p.m. to 369 Church St. where the unidentified man, who had been operating the motorcycle, was suffering from "severe injuries including multi-system trauma," the department said in a statement.
He was taken to Eames Way Elementary School in Marshfield and later flown to Boston Medical Center, the statement said. The school is a MedFlight landing zone.
Additional details on the accident were not immediately available.
