Boston Police identified the 27-year-old man shot and killed early Sunday morning in Roxbury as Jefferson C. Johnson of Dorchester.
Johnson was the first of three homicide victims during a bloody holiday weekend in Boston.
Police responded to Crispus Attucks Place at 12:48 a.m., where they found Johnson shot multiple times. He died later at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Later on Sunday,14-year-old Nicholas Travis Fomby-Davis, was gunned down while riding a scooter on Bowdoin Street in Dorchester.
On Monday afternoon, two teenagers were stabbed near the Hyde Park/Mattapan line. Seventeen-year-old Ivol Brown died of his injuries soon after arriving at Brigham and Women’s Hospital..
No arrests have been made in the Johnson or Brown cases. Anyone with information is urged to call the Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
