Boston police investigate after grisly discovery in Roxbury
Boston police are investigating the report of a human body part found outside a Roxbury home.
Police were called at 12:55 p.m. Monday to 155 Ruthven St., after a landscaper found what he thought was a human knee outside the home, said Officer Eddy Chrispin, a police spokesman.
Detectives went to the scene briefly Monday but had left by midafternoon.
The home, a large three-story blue house, appears to be under renovation, with building materials on the walkway and tags still on brand new replacement windows. No names were on the mailbox and no one appeared to be inside.
