A 22-year-old Wisconsin man was killed in a motorcycle accident tonight on Storrow Drive near Massachusetts General Hospital, State Police said.
Trooper Thomas Murphy, a State Police spokesman, said the man lost control of his 1979 Honda motorcycle while traveling eastbound on the road at about 8 p.m. The motorcycle came to rest in the left lane on the eastbound side, Murphy said.
The man, a native of DeForest, Wis., whose identity was withheld pending family notification, was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to State Police.
His motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the accident, Murphy said, and further details were not immediately available tonight.
