Woman killed in W. Mass. motorcycle crash

A woman from Switzerland was killed after she crashed a three-wheel motorcycle on the Massachusetts Turnpike in the town of Becket, State Police said.
Lorenza Bernasconi-Galli, 59, was driving a 2007 Honda, heading west with two other motorcycles at about 3:30 p.m. Monday, said Lieutenant David Wilson, a State Police spokesman.
She drifted into the breakdown lane before striking a guardrail. She was thrown from the bike after it skidded nearly 200 feet. She was pronounced dead at the scene, State Police said.
The crash is under investigation.
