The husband of a Framingham woman who was found dead in her apartment last week was arrested today in Laredo, Texas in connection with her stabbing death.

Police today took Kyle Alleyne, 25, into custody on a probation violation. He faces first-degree murder charges for the death of his wife, according to a press release from the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.

On Monday, Aug. 9, police found Heather Alleyne, a 19-year-old mother of two, dead in the bedroom area of her condominium on Worcester Rd. in Framingham. An autopsy revealed that she suffered from sharp force wounds to the neck, torso, and extremities.

“We allege that the defendant brutally stabbed the victim to death, leaving two very young children without a mother,” Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone said in a statement today. “Instances of domestic violence are extremely troubling and we are constantly working in collaboration with our community partners and service agencies to provide resources and help to victims of domestic violence in order to prevent tragedies from occurring in the first place.”

Alleyne had recently discovered that he is not the father of Heather’s 2-week-old daughter. She had apparently conceived the baby during a brief separation from Alleyne last year.

He will be arraigned upon his return to Massachusetts.
