Rehoboth couple finds dead goat on front lawn

A Rehoboth couple is “shaken and concerned” after discovering a mutilated, dead goat on the front lawn this morning, police said.

A neighbor alerted the Summer Street homeowners around 8 a.m. to the animal, Rehoboth Police Chief Stephen Enos said. The goat, which was disemboweled with a rope around its neck, had most likely been dumped in the couple’s front lawn sometime before 5:30 a.m., he said.
