Dorchester man charged with strangling his wife
A 51-year-old Dorchester man has been charged with strangling his wife on Saturday in their home on Bicknell Street, Suffolk County prosecutors said today.

Roger Paron Jr. was arraigned in Dorchester District Court on a charge of murdering Victoria Paron, 39. Judge James Coffey ordered Roger Paron held without bail and slated another hearing for Oct. 12.
Prosecutors said police began looking Saturday into Victoria Paron's well-being and her husband's whereabouts.
The next day, police located Roger Paron near Talbot Avenue and Blue Hill Avenue. Asked where his wife was, Paron told police, "She's dead. I killed her," according to Assistant District Attorney David Deakin, senior domestic violence prosecutor. Paron allegedly told police she was at their home and when police went there, they found her body.
"More than almost any other crime, domestic violence afflicts people of every age, ethnicity, income and orientation," District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said in a statement. "If you're in an abusive relationship, or if you know someone who is, we're ready to help. No one should have to live in fear of an intimate partner."
Attorney Willie J. Davis, who is representing Paron said he had no comment because he had not yet reviewed the case.
