Police identify man injured in Halifax helicopter crash
Halifax police have identified the man injured in a helicopter crash in that town on Sunday as 67-year-old Bruce M. Shulman of East Boston.
Shulman was piloting a small, single-seat helicopter that crashed into woods at about 1:07 p.m. Sunday near the Twin Lakes condominium complex, police said today in a statement.
Shulman was in critical condition at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, suffering from burns and multiple broken bones, police said.
Police, the Federal Aviation Administration, the state Aeronautics Division, and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the cause, the statement said.
