Two teens identified as latest victims of homicide in Boston
Boston police today identified two teenagers as the city's latest victims of homicide.
Police said that Jeremy Price, 18, was shot Monday around 8:30 p.m. on Astoria Street in Mattapan. Price, a Boston resident, was rushed to Boston Medical Center where he later died of his wounds, police said.
One day later, Hasani Andre, 18, was shot on Tonawanda Street in Dorchester. Andre, who was also a Boston resident, was rushed to the BMC following the 11:15 p.m. shooting and later died.
No arrests have been made, police said.
Police asked anyone with information to contact them on the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1(800) 494-TIPS or text a ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
Price and Andre are the city's 46th and 47th homicide victims of the year. Last year at this time, the city had suffered 38 killings, according to police.
