A Framingham man was indicted today for allegedly murdering his 19-year-old wife in August.
Kyle Alleyne, 25, was indicted in Middlesex Superior Court on charges of murder in the first degree, assault and battery, and reckless endangerment of a child, according to the Office of Middlesex District Attorney Gerard T. Leone Jr. An arraignment date has not been set.
Prosecutors allege that Alleyne fatally stabbed his wife, Heather Alleyne, on the night of Aug. 4 or the following day. She was found in her Worcester Road condominium on Aug. 9.
Kyle Alleyne was apprehended on Aug. 14 in Laredo, Texas, as he attempted to reenter the United States from Mexico, authorities said. He is believed to have fled Framingham on Aug. 7, according to Leone's office.
