A suspect has been arrested on murder and firearms charges in the slaying last year of a 21-year-old man in Brockton, Plymouth prosecutors announced this morning.
Esau Depina was served with a murder warrant at the Dedham House of Correction, where he is being held on bail on an unrelated charge.
Depina faces arraignment today in Brockton District Court on the charges in the slaying of Anthony Hamilton on Nov. 16, 2009, on Johnson Court in Brockton, Plymouth District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz announced.
"I want to commend the hard work of the investigators. They have worked tirelessly on this case and as a result this defendant will finally face justice," Cruz said in a statement.
