New Hampshire authorities are investigating the death of a woman and a child whose bodies were found this afternoon inside a home in Auburn, a small town about 12 miles east of Manchester, according to media reports.
Calls to the New Hampshire attorney general's office and New Hampshire state police were not immediately returned.
The New Hampshire Union Leader and WMUR-TV both were reporting that a woman and her child were found dead in a home on Bunker Hill Road in Auburn. A second child and a man believed to be the father of the children have been hospitalized, the news outlets reported.
The Union Leader reported that the deaths were being investigated as homicides.
No further information was immediately available.
