A driver going down the wrong side of Commonwealth Avenue in the Fenway area sideswiped five to 10 cars before the car stopped and the driver was detained by citizens until police arrived, according the Boston Police Department.
Boston police spokeswoman Jill Flynn said she was unsure if the wrong-way driver was subsequently arrested after the incident, which happened at about 1 p.m. in the 500 block of the busy thoroughfare.
One person was injured, but that personís condition is unknown, she said. The incident remains under investigation.
