Electrical power to three Boston neighborhoods was fully restored by 10:20 a.m. today, according to Mike Durand, spokesman for the NStar utility.
Durand said that an underground cable failed at 8:40 a.m., cutting power to an estimated 6,500 customers in Dorchester, Roxbury, and Mattapan.
Durand said utility workers bypassed the damaged cable, and partially restored service to 2,100 customers. All customers regained service by 10:20 a.m., Durand said.
