A light dusting of snow may hit Boston Friday morning, with a chance of heavier snowfall Saturday afternoon, the National Weather Service says.Temperatures today are expected to be in the lower 30s, with highs in the low to mid-30s and lows around 20 degrees, said Weather Service meteorologist Bill Simpson.
"It's a couple degrees cooler than normal," he said.
Simpson predicts a 30 percent chance of an inch or two of snow in the predawn hours Friday. From Friday night into Saturday, chances for another 2 to 4 inches are around 60 percent, he said.
Clouds are expected to break Sunday afternoon, with temperatures in the mid-30s. There is a potential snowstorm for Tuesday, though Simpson said he has no further details just yet.
