Surveillance video shows alleged murderer walking away from crime scene
Nothing in his walk suggests that he is a killer, or that he just ended the life of a 21-year-old man by shooting him repeatedly as the victim stood in a Mission Hill parking lot.
But Boston police believe the man seen in surveillance videos walking through the Longwood area on Dec.16 is the same person who shot and killed Demetrius Blocker while Blocker was near 48 Horadan Way.
Police have posted the surveillance video on the Internet and are asking for the public's help in identifying the man with the fur collar on his dark winter jacket.
Anyone with information can contact the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470 or send information to the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1(800) 494-TIPS or text the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME.
Police said that after the shooting, the man ran though the alleys between buildings and out onto McGreevey Way. He then made his way across St. Alphonsus Street to Longwood Avenue to Huntington Avenue. The suspect goes out of view after crossing Huntington Avenue.
