Two men suspected of selling guns to drug dealers and gang members in Brockton were arrested late Friday in a Taco Bell parking lot, according to the Massachusetts State Police.
An arrest team of state troopers, Brockton Police officers, and FBI agents stopped the pickup truck in which James Johnson, 33, of Concord, N.H., and James Henessey, 40, of Weymouth were riding at 9:10 p.m. on North Montello Street.
Authorities recovered four semi-automatic handguns and a revolver from the truck and a loaded handgun tucked in Johnsonís waistband, State Police Sergeant Michael Popovics said.
Johnson and Henessey, who were stopped as a result of an on-going gun trafficking investigation, are expected to be arraigned next week in Brockton District Court.
