A man was found dead this morning at a Provincetown campground, officials said.
Police were conducting a routine property check around 6 a.m. at the Coastal Acres Camping Court, Inc. when they observed damage to an area in the campground where an office is located, said Michael O’Keefe, district attorney for the Cape and Islands. The damage prompted the officers to inquire further into the condition of the building, where they found the dead body.
“It is a suspicious death at this point,” O’Keefe said.
The incident is under investigation. Further information was not immediately available.
