A 22-year-old man was seriously injured today when he fell through a skylight on the roof of a Beacon Street building in Brookline during the Boston Marathon, officials said.
While watching the race with some friends, the man, whose name has not been released, fell approximately five stories into the building at 1834 Beacon, Brookline police spokesman Philip Harrington said.
He was conscious after the fall, he said, and was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital.
No further information was immediately available.
