NEWTOWN, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut state police are investigating three accidents that killed three people over the weekend.
Troopers say 22-year-old Traci Ann Pascarelli of Norwalk died in a crash on Interstate 84 in Newtown on Saturday afternoon. She was a passenger in a car that went off the highway and down an embankment. The car’s driver, 18-year-old Larissa Peterson of Danbury, is in stable condition at Danbury Hospital.
In Griswold, 67-year-old Betty Chabotte of Voluntown died after a pickup truck struck her car on Route 138 Saturday. Troopers say she was pulling out of parking lot when the pickup hit her car.
In Washington, 65-year-old Timothy Ahern of Bristol was killed Saturday when his motorcycle and a limousine collided at the intersection of routes 109 and 47.
All three accidents remain under investigation.
