DELAWARE, Ohio—A central Ohio liberal arts college has received a nearly $308,000 gift in memory of a student killed in the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103.

The money will go into a scholarship fund set up in honor of Thomas Britton Schultz at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, about 20 miles north of Columbus. It comes from the estate of William Frazee, a neighbor of Schultz' family in Ridgefield, Conn.

Schultz was 20 and on his way home from a semester in London when a bomb went off on board the plane over Lockerbie, Scotland. All 259 people on board were killed, as well as 11 on the ground.
