WATERBURY, Conn.—Police have suspended their search for a missing college student from Cheshire after finding a body near a community college in Waterbury.

Police say 22-year-old Timothy Dioses was last seen by his family last Thursday when he left his home to attend class at Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury.

His car was seen pulling into the parking lot of the college, but Dioses didn't show up for class.

Waterbury police have found a body believed to be that of Dioses. The body was found in a heavily wooded area, about 250 to 350 yards off the roadway.

Cheshire police say Dioses suffered from depression and may have been disoriented without his medication.
