Teen arrested for paint ball shootings in Guilford
GUILFORD, Conn. --Guilford police have arrested a 14-year-old boy for firing a paint ball gun at random cars and striking a 1-year-old girl.
Police say that the boy fired from a third-floor window in a building on the Boston Post Road last month.
Police say the girl, who was being fed by her mother, was struck in the face. She was not seriously wounded, but suffered a welt on the side of her face. Guilford paramedics treated the child at the scene.
Police arrested the teenager Monday and have charged him with reckless endangerment, assault and breach of peace.
Police say the boy was visiting the home where he fired the gun, striking several unoccupied parked vehicles.
