Conn. teen's stolen diabetes device replaced

NEW BRITAIN, Conn.—A Connecticut boy has been given a replacement diabetes monitor that had been stolen while he played basketball at a New Britain park.
The $6,000 medical device that's needed for the 17-year-old boy to monitor his blood sugar levels was stolen June 16.
New Britain police say since the theft, they've gotten several calls offering to help the boy replace the monitor, but now the company that makes the device has stepped in.

Police say they still don't know who stole the monitor.![]()
