HARTFORD, Conn.—Connecticut Sen. Christopher Dodd says he expects the federal health care legislation to be extremely popular, despite opinion polls that show a majority of Americans oppose it.
Dodd told
Dodd said he's hoping Congress can get the finished legislation on President Barack Obama's desk by the end of January or first part of February.
The Senate passed the landmark bill Thursday on a 60-39 vote, and it must now be merged with legislation passed by the House.![]()
