MIDDLETOWN, Conn.—Wesleyan University officials say a student who was accidentally stabbed by a prop samurai sword during a student-produced play has been released from a hospital.
Wesleyan spokesman David Pesci says the sword was a prop used in Thursday night's performance at a building on the Middletown campus.
Pesci said Friday that the student was released from a local hospital after being treated for non-life threatening injuries. The student's name wasn't released.
